Playmobil FunPark Athens, Theme park in Kifisia, Greece
Playmobil FunPark Athens is a play park in the Athens suburb of Kifisia, built around walk-through scenes featuring Playmobil figures and life-size settings. The areas cover fairy-tale castles, pirate ships, and adventure zones that children can enter and explore directly.
The park was set up to give children a large-scale encounter with Playmobil figures they normally only see in small formats at home. A later phase added areas inspired by Greek mythology, expanding the original concept with local themes.
Some play areas in the park draw directly from ancient Greek mythology, placing those stories alongside the classic Playmobil worlds of knights and pirates. Children move between these settings and encounter different characters and narratives through hands-on play.
The park is easy to get around on foot, with clear signs pointing to each area and no major level changes between zones. Some play areas are outdoors, so visiting on a dry day makes the experience more comfortable for everyone.
The park rotates its exhibits and scenes with the seasons, so return visits often reveal something new. There is also a dedicated area for children from 18 months old, fitted with soft surfaces so the youngest visitors can move around freely on their own.
