Château du Tertre, Wine estate in Arsac, France

The 52-hectare vineyard stretches across gravelly slopes, growing Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot grapes with an average age of 40 years.

Built in 1736, the estate gained recognition in 1855 when it received the classification of Fifth Growth (Grand Cru Classé) in the Margaux appellation.

The wine production combines traditional methods with modern techniques, under the guidance of renowned oenologist Denis Dubourdieu from the University of Bordeaux.

The estate offers three tour options ranging from one to two hours, with prices between 18 and 65 euros, including wine tastings and specialized experiences.

Five guest rooms decorated by Axel Vervoordt provide overnight accommodations with direct views of the surrounding vineyards.
