Château Belgrave

Château Belgrave is a wine estate in Saint-Laurent-Médoc that spreads across a large area growing grape varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. The property sits in the Haut-Médoc region and produces both a main wine and a secondary label wine.

The property started as a hunting lodge during the reign of Louis XV in the 1700s and later developed into a wine production site, receiving Fifth Growth classification in 1855.

The vineyard preserves traditional Bordeaux winemaking approaches while integrating contemporary cultivation methods under Dourthe's stewardship beginning in 1979. Visitors can observe how daily operations balance between classical practices and modern innovations.
