Herbeville

Herbeville is a rural commune in the Yvelines region spanning about 640 hectares of farmland and woodland within the Plaine de Versailles. The settlement is situated at 137 meters elevation and benefits from road connections linking it to neighboring areas.

The village belonged to the Seine-et-Oise department until 1968, when administrative reorganization assigned it to the newly created Yvelines department. This boundary change was part of a broader restructuring in north-central France.
