Aydat

Located in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, Aydat stretches across 150 square kilometers of varied terrain with elevations ranging from 620 to 1142 meters.

The geological formation of Lac d'Aydat occurred approximately 8,000 years ago when volcanic activity created a basalt flow that shaped the current landscape.
