Pont Gisclard, Steel railway bridge in Sauto, France.

The Pont Gisclard spans 253 meters across the Têt River, supported by masonry pillars that elevate 30-meter metal pylons at a height of 62 meters.

Engineer Albert Gisclard designed this bridge in 1896, and Ferdinand Arnodin's company constructed it between 1905 and 1908 as part of the Ligne de Cerdagne railway.

The bridge received multiple heritage designations, including classification as a historical monument in 1997 and recognition as part of 20th-century architectural heritage.

The structure maintains its original function as the only suspended railway bridge still operating in France, connecting Villefranche-de-Conflent to Latour-de-Carol.

The bridge features an alternating torsion cable system developed by Ferdinand Arnodin, combined with triangulated trusses that reinforce the deck suspension.
