Parc Olbius Riquier

The seven-hectare park contains several collections of palm trees, bamboo plants, and succulent species arranged around a central lake with a waterfall.

Following the 1868 bequest of Olbius Hippolyte Antoine Riquier, the park opened in 1872 as an extension of the Paris Acclimatation Garden.

The park integrates Mediterranean landscaping traditions with a focus on exotic plant species, including rare specimens from tropical regions in its greenhouse.

Visitors can access the park free of charge from 7:30 AM until sunset between April and September, with activities including pony rides and a small train.

Free-roaming peacocks wander through the grounds while mallards swim in the ponds, creating natural interactions between wildlife and garden visitors.
