Abbaye Saint-Léonard de Corbigny, Benedictine abbey in Corbigny, France.

Abbaye Saint-Léonard de Corbigny stands on a hilltop in the Anguison Valley, forming the northern gateway to the town. The structure displays 18th-century architecture and currently houses the tourist information office alongside exhibition spaces open to visitors.

The relics of Saint Leonard arrived in Corbigny in 882, giving the abbey its name and spurring the growth of the surrounding settlement. The monastery shaped local life through its religious and economic influence for centuries afterward.

The building now functions as a cultural center called Abeïcité, hosting contemporary art exhibitions and performances that take place within its historic spaces.

Visitors can explore the structure through guided tours that explain the architecture and layout of the spaces. The attached tourist information center can help with planning other activities and sightseeing in the surrounding area.

The former monastic kitchen contains a space called the Blue Room, where contemporary artworks are displayed against walls and ceilings painted in blue. This pairing of historical setting with modern art creates an unexpected creative experience.
