Château Saint-Lambert, Renaissance château in Lioux, France.
The stone château stands at 700 meters altitude in the Vaucluse mountains, near the municipalities of Murs, Gordes, and the Luberon region.
Built in the 17th century and modified in the 18th century, the château served as a noble residence for the Astouaud family before becoming a sanatorium in 1932.
The château represents the architectural style of Provence Renaissance, incorporating regional building techniques and design elements from that period.
From 1995 to 2013, the château operated as part of the Montfavet Hospital Center in Avignon, providing therapeutic stays for patients.
In 2018, education entrepreneur Aldrick Allal purchased the property for Diderot Education, transforming its function from healthcare to academic purposes.
