Château de Machy

The Château de Machy is a manor with multiple building sections and a distinctive main facade featuring a tower containing a spiral staircase that reflects 17th-century French design. The structure maintains this traditional architectural style.

The estate was purchased in 1778 by Jean Antoine Morand de Jouffrey for his teenage son and remained under family ownership until the late 20th century. This extended period shaped the property's development over generations.

The castle now houses the Maison-Theatre de Machy, where the theater company La Premiere Seconde stages performances and conducts artistic training in the historic rooms. Visitors experience a living cultural space within these traditional walls.
