Château de Beaumont-sur-Vingeanne is a two-storey classical stone building with a central projecting section topped by a triangular pediment and a round clock face, reached by steps flanked by stone balustrades. A carved stone balustrade runs along the roofline, and a weather vane rises from the centre. The main floor sits above a vaulted basement storey of 20 by 15 metres, with an entresol over the front half and a lost attic above.

A castle stood here from the Middle Ages: in 1424 Humbert, Count of La Roche, held the land of Beaumont with its châtel, fortress, walls and moats. Taken and pillaged on 18 January 1636 by Clinchamp during the Ten Years' War, it was rebuilt, and the present château was erected in 1723 by Abbé Claude Jolyot (1670-1762). It was restored in 1936 and again from 1942, and listed as a monument historique on 16 April 1948.

The grounds are divided by use: an ornamental garden to the south-east, reached through a carriage gate, a kitchen garden to the south-west, and outbuildings with farm areas to the north-east. The 6-hectare park surrounds the house, and the buildings are covered in flat tiles, the main lodge in glazed tiles.

The château stands on Rue de Richebourg at the southern entrance of the village, built into a hillside so that a garden level sits below the main floor. Access to the main level is by a front staircase, with a U-shaped rear stair inside. The grounds are divided into an ornamental garden to the south-east, a kitchen garden to the south-west and farm buildings to the north-east.

The main building rests on a vaulted basement level of 20 by 15 metres, reached from the facade by a straight stair, with a spiral stair linking the vestibule to the cellars. The house is covered in flat tiles, while the main lodge uses glazed tiles. The limestone came from quarries at Plantenay in Beaumont.
