Château de la Punta, Protected castle in Alata, France.

The castle stands at 600 meters altitude, featuring different facades that showcase architectural elements from the former Tuileries Palace of Paris.

Built between 1883 and 1891, the Château de la Punta incorporates stones from the Tuileries Palace, which burned down in Paris in 1871.

The structure reflects the late 19th-century aristocratic preferences, combining multiple architectural styles in its design and interior arrangements.

The castle remains closed to visitors, with access restricted to a winding 7-kilometer road lined with eucalyptus trees.

The building earned recognition as an endangered heritage site in 2018, following severe damage from a fire that occurred in 1978.
