Fort Bellecroix

Fort Bellecroix is an 18th-century military structure in Metz with four large bastions and several defensive walls surrounded by deep dry moats. Underground passages run throughout the construction and allow exploration beneath the surface.

The structure was built in the 1730s under royal command to strengthen the eastern defenses of the city. A renowned engineer oversaw the construction of this important defensive station.
