Espace Georges-Brassens, Museum dedicated to singer Georges Brassens in Sète, France
The museum exhibits personal items, photographs, and recordings that document the life and career of French singer-songwriter Georges Brassens through an audio-guided tour.
The museum opened in 1991 and underwent a complete renovation in 2006, which doubled its exhibition space under the direction of architect Christian Salvador.
The facility hosts French song festivals, temporary exhibitions, book presentations, and conferences that highlight the influence of Georges Brassens on contemporary artists.
Visitors can explore the museum daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM using audio guides available in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Italian, and German.
The museum provides special audio guides adapted for children and tablet devices with French Sign Language interpretation for hearing-impaired visitors.
