The course was designed in 1971 by architect Mickaël Fenn and laid out in the woods of Norges-la-Ville. The site's inception is recorded as 1968, three years before the course design. It is now known as Golf Jacques Laffite Dijon-Bourgogne.
The course is also known as Golf Jacques Laffite Dijon-Bourgogne, after the French racing driver. Each year it hosts the Trophée des Grands Crus, a tournament whose name refers to the wines of Burgundy, alongside the Open International de Bourgogne and the Jacques Laffite Classic.
The course lies in the woods of Norges-la-Ville, about 10 km north of Dijon, and is reached by road from the city. The 18-hole par-72 layout measures 5,973 m and is open to professionals and players of all levels. On site are a gastronomic restaurant, a pro shop, a swimming pool and tennis courts.
