Hôtel d'Hailly d'Aigremont is a private mansion in Lille displaying classical French architecture with symmetrical facades and finely carved stonework throughout. Large windows open to both the courtyard and gardens, creating multiple sight lines through the residence.

Construction began in 1703 when banker Pierre-Louis Jacobs d'Hailly commissioned the residence for his family. The French Revolution led to its seizure and subsequent sale to industrial entrepreneurs who maintained its residential character.

The interior rooms showcase the refined craftsmanship of 18th-century Lille's noble families, with carefully designed spaces reflecting their social standing. These rooms tell the story of how the wealthy lived and spent their time during this period.

The residence is located on rue de Roubaix and currently serves as an official residence with restricted public access. Visitors can appreciate the exterior architecture and stonework from the street, though the interior spaces are not open to casual tourism.

The gardens extend along multiple streets toward Boulevard Carnot, where an ancient canal once ran through the property. This hidden waterway lies buried beneath the street today, yet its path still shapes the layout of the grounds.
