Hôtel de Beauvau, Private mansion in 8th arrondissement, France
The Hôtel de Beauvau features a neoclassical design with a Doric peristyle, two entrance pavilions, and spans three levels including a ground floor and attic.
Built in 1770 for Charles-Juste de Beauvau-Craon, Louis XVI's war minister, the mansion was designed by architect Nicolas Le Camus de Mézières.
The building maintains its original 18th-century layout, garden facade, and interior decorative elements, representing French architectural excellence of that period.
Located near the Élysée Palace, the mansion now houses the French Ministry of Interior and includes ministerial offices and ceremonial spaces.
The property contains 413 trees from the 19th century, originally sourced from the nurseries of Château de Trianon.
