Hôtel Alexandre

Hôtel Alexandre is a private mansion in the 8th arrondissement with grand reception rooms and soaring ceilings. Large windows flood the interior with daylight and define the refined appearance of the entire structure.

The building was designed between 1763 and 1766 by renowned architect Étienne-Louis Boullée. It received protected monument status in 1927, acknowledging its architectural importance to Paris.

The original flat roof was replaced with a mansard roof that seamlessly integrates the building into the traditional Paris roofline. This modification shows how 18th-century classical architecture was later adapted to fit urban conventions.
