Musée d'art moderne

The Musée d'art moderne consists of 3,000 square meters of exhibition space dedicated to modern and contemporary artworks from the 20th and 21st centuries.

Established in 1987, the museum received official recognition as a 'musée de France' in 2003, marking its standing in the national cultural landscape.

The museum presents rotating exhibitions of paintings, sculptures, installations, and photographs from both established international artists and emerging talents throughout the year.

The museum welcomes over 50,000 visitors annually and provides guided tours, educational activities for schools, and a specialized art documentation center.

Following extensive renovations in 2023-2024 costing 5 million euros, the museum reopened with enhanced climate control systems and improved exhibition flexibility.
