The Musée de l'Éphèbe houses a collection of 3,000 archaeological objects retrieved from underwater excavations in the Mediterranean Sea and Hérault River.

The museum opened in 1985 following the 1964 discovery of a Hellenistic bronze statue representing Alexander the Great in the Hérault River.

Exhibits include detailed displays of maritime trade artifacts, bronze sculptures, weaponry, and ancient pottery from shipwrecks in the Gulf of Lions.

The museum extends its hours from June to September, operating from 10:00 to 18:30, with regular guided tours available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Children can engage with multimedia activities including tablet-based underwater searches and ancient-themed video games during school holidays.
