Planet Ocean Montpellier is a combined aquarium and planetarium located in the Odysseum district. The facility spans two floors and features approximately 400 marine species arranged across 15 themed sections, ranging from tropical reefs to polar habitats and space exhibitions.

It opened in 2008 as part of the Odysseum leisure complex with a focus on marine conservation and astronomy education. This development reflected the growing interest in public access to scientific knowledge about the world's oceans and space exploration.
