Musée d'art et d'archéologie de Laon

The Musée d'art et d'archéologie de Laon is housed in a former Templar building and displays art and archaeological objects from various periods. The collection ranges from ancient artifacts to paintings and sculptures that document the region's history.

Excavations in 2015 revealed traces showing that the former residents of the Templar building were wealthy and lived comfortably. Bone remains suggested that many of them spent time riding horses, which indicated high social standing for their era.
