Phare du Hourdel, Concrete lighthouse in Le Hourdel, France.

The cylindrical tower stands 18 meters tall at the southern part of Somme Bay, emitting white and green lights every 12 seconds.

The first light signal was installed in 1840 on a wooden structure, later replaced by a metal frame in 1905 until its destruction in 1944.

The lighthouse guides maritime traffic through Somme Bay while serving as a central point for nature observation activities in the region.

The lighthouse parking area functions as a landing zone for civil security and marine helicopters during summer coastal surveillance operations.

Three occlusions of white and green light signals help vessels navigate through the waters, continuing a tradition established since 1840.
