Cayeux-sur-Mer lighthouse

The Cayeux-sur-Mer lighthouse is a 28 meter tall red and white structure located on the English Channel coast at the southern entrance of Somme Bay. It marks navigation channels with its signal light to help vessels pass safely through the waters.

The current lighthouse was built in 1951 after the previous one was destroyed during World War II. This rebuilding was part of efforts to restore coastal navigation systems in the region following the war.
