Point Éphémère

Point Éphémère is a concert venue housed in a converted industrial building directly on the Canal Saint-Martin waterfront in the 10th arrondissement. The space contains artist studios, music rehearsal rooms, and a dance studio alongside the main hall where performances take place and visitors gather.

The building originally served as a warehouse for construction materials and housed a fire station before being converted into a cultural center in 2004. This transformation was part of a broader effort to repurpose abandoned spaces as creative destinations.

The name refers to the idea of something temporary, yet it has become a permanent gathering place where artists and visitors meet daily. You can see creative work happening in the studios during the day, and in the evenings the space fills with people drawn together by music and social connection.

The entrance is along Quai de Valmy directly on the canal waterfront, which serves as a natural gathering point. Visit during the day to see the studios in action, or come in the evening for performances, and the canal bank offers space to walk and explore around the building.

The center was founded by a team specialized in rescuing forgotten buildings, having carried out similar projects throughout France over more than twenty years. This long experience shapes how the place operates and stays alive today.
