Parc Victor-Thuillat covers 3.5 hectares in northern Limoges, between Montjovis, Mas Loubier and Vigenal. It holds 750 species of perennial plants and 242 trees of 62 species, including a bald cypress from Louisiana. A still pond reflects trees and sky, with a grassy bank of fallen leaves on one side and low vegetation on the other. The park also has a children's play area and a pétanque court.

The park was created at the end of the 19th century when a family transformed part of their farmland for this purpose, incorporating a natural water course into the design. The layout followed English garden traditions that matched the contemporary style of park development.

The park's name honours Victor Thuillat, a local figure, and its English-style river is fed by a spring that already existed on the farmland before the park was laid out. Visitors today find a children's play area and a boulodrome, a marked pétanque ground, alongside the water and lawns.

The park is located north of downtown and is easy to reach from nearby residential areas. Visitors should note that the layout with paved paths and open lawns can offer different conditions depending on the season and weather.

Among the planted species is a rare cypress from Louisiana that thrives in the region's moist climate. This unusual choice reflects the founders' ambition to create a botanical collection that extended beyond what was typical for the area.
