Tour Europlaza, Office skyscraper in La Défense district, Courbevoie, France.

Tour Europlaza is an office tower with 31 floors in La Défense that reaches 135 meters high. The building has a distinctive outer shape that sets it apart from the rectangular towers nearby and uses multiple elevators for internal movement.

The tower was built in 1972 and was originally named after its northern location. It belonged to the second wave of skyscrapers that shaped La Défense and expanded the business district further.

The building shows how French corporate architecture looked in the 1970s, when the country was building modern office centers. You can see in its shape how designers of that time balanced height with function.

The building has good accessibility through multiple entrances and is within walking distance of the La Défense metro stations. Keep in mind that this is an active office building, so public areas are limited.

The building was originally known as Septentrion, named after its position in the northern part of La Défense. This old name is rarely used today, but it recalls the time when the district's towers still had names based on their geographic location.
