The 29-hectare estate features a modern cellar designed by Philippe Starck, resembling a metal vessel floating on a lake surface at ground level.
The vineyard originated in 1584 when Carmelite monks managed the property, continuing their stewardship until the French Revolution in 1789.
The winery combines traditional Bordeaux winemaking methods with modern techniques, using a mix of stainless steel, wood, and cement containers for fermentation.
Located at 20 rue des Carmes in Bordeaux, the estate offers guided tours and tastings of their wines produced from Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
The underground gravity-fed cellar maintains constant temperature for 300 wine barrels while integrating contemporary architecture with functional winemaking spaces.
