Musée Bonnard, Art museum in Le Cannet, France

Musée Bonnard occupies a restored hotel building called Saint-Vianney and displays paintings, sculptures, prints, and lithographs by Pierre Bonnard. The collection continues to grow through acquisitions, donations, and long-term loans, with the municipality of Le Cannet purchasing new artworks each year.

Pierre Bonnard purchased the Le Bosquet estate in 1926 and remained there until his death, creating about 300 artworks during his stay. This period shaped his artistic development and left behind a substantial body of work now displayed in the museum.

The museum presents exhibitions that explore different aspects of Bonnard's artistic practice, such as his approach to landscapes, domestic spaces, and portraiture. Visitors can observe how the artist captured everyday moments and private life in his works.

The museum occupies the Hôtel Saint-Vianney, bought by the town in 1998 and converted from July 2010; the entrance sits behind the light stone wall and forecourt, marked by metal MUSÉE letters. Allow time for one to two temporary exhibitions a year alongside the permanent collection. Bonnard's villa Le Bosquet, whose garden was listed in 2007, lies elsewhere in Le Cannet and is not part of the museum building.

The garden of Bonnard's villa Le Bosquet was listed as a historical monument in 2007, not 2006. Bonnard bought the villa in 1926 and spent nearly 25 years there; the almond tree in his garden recurs in his paintings, and L'Amandier (around 1930) entered the museum's collection in 2014 as a gift from the Fondation Meyer.
