Grand Parc des Docks de Saint-Ouen, Municipal park near Seine River in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, France

The Grand Parc des Docks is a 12-hectare public green space in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, opened in full on 7 December 2013 and managed by Plaine Commune. It was built from scratch as part of the ZAC des Docks development on part of the former Saint-Ouen docks. Its layout by the Agence Ter combines a 9,000 m² lawn, a 5,000 m² meadow, ponds, 2,000 m² of play areas and a 1,400 m² educational greenhouse.

The Grand Parc des Docks was created from scratch as part of the ZAC des Docks development on part of the former Saint-Ouen docks. A first five-hectare section opened on 9 June 2013, and the entire twelve-hectare park opened on 7 December 2013. The landscape design by Agence Ter and BERIM resulted from a 2010 competition organised by Séquano Aménagement.

The 1,400 m² educational greenhouse is run by the city of Saint-Ouen. The park also has 5,000 m² of shared gardens and a henhouse named after Wangari, referring to Wangari Maathai. In 2022 the town signed a four-year Refuges LPO agreement, a French scheme for biodiversity-friendly green spaces.

The main entrance is at 32 rue Albert Dhalenne, with further access from rue de la Clef des Champs, cours des Bâteliers and the quai de Seine near the pont de Saint-Ouen. The 12-hectare grounds are flat, with a 9,000 m² lawn, a 5,000 m² meadow and water features, so allow time to cross between the entrances.

The park opened in two stages: five hectares on 9 June 2013, the whole twelve hectares on 7 December 2013. It was designed by the Agence Ter landscape practice with the engineering office BERIM, after a design competition won in 2010 and organised by Séquano Aménagement, the developer of the Docks zone.
