Prieuré Saint Ortaire, Medieval priory in Saint-Michel-des-Andaines, France.
The priory complex includes two chapels: one dedicated to Saint Ortaire and another shared between Saint Ortaire and Saint Radegonde within Ferté-Macé forest.
The original chapel was destroyed during the French Revolution, leading to the relocation of saint statues to a barn that became the foundation of the current chapel.
The site maintains an annual pilgrimage in July dedicated to Saint Peregrine Laziosi, recognized as the patron saint of cancer patients and long-term illnesses.
The priory holds daily mass services at 17:00 and contains a shop within the hospitality lodge where visitors can purchase religious items.
Following local traditions, pilgrims place stones near the chapel, with larger stones representing more severe afflictions, awaiting their natural fall as a sign of healing.
