Hôtel de Felzins, Renaissance mansion in Toulouse, France
The Hôtel de Felzins features a monumental entrance gate with Corinthian columns, marble inlays, and intricate sculptural decorations on rue de la Dalbade.
Built between 1550 and 1556 for parliamentarian Gaspard Molinier, this private residence combined two separate properties into a single architectural ensemble.
The mansion contains one of the finest Renaissance fireplaces in Toulouse, adorned with representations of Roman emperors and inscriptions about Hercules Gallicus.
The building maintains its classified historical monument status since 1889, with protection documents available for consultation at the Heritage and Photography Media Library.
The second courtyard features a decorated turret with putti sculptures intertwined with floral garlands that symbolize abundance and fertility.
