Villa Pernot, Historical monument and factory in Dijon, France
The Villa Pernot features a square Moorish tower combining stone and brick elements, with arched windows adorning its exterior walls.
Founded in 1869 as a small mustard and biscuit factory by Auguste Pernot, the facility expanded under the Richard brothers' management from 1883.
The administrative building, constructed in 1899, displays polychrome brick bands and metal beams decorated with floral patterns.
Parts of the original factory equipment are now exhibited at the Museum of Burgundian Life, allowing visitors to explore the industrial heritage.
By 1919, the Pernot biscuit factory elevated Dijon to the third position in France's industrial biscuit production rankings.
