Pont Georges-Guingouin

Pont Georges-Guingouin is a modern road bridge that crosses the Vienne River and links the A20 motorway with the RN21 highway. It spans approximately 175 meters and features parallel arch supports with concrete construction that helps direct traffic between different parts of the city.

The bridge was named after Georges Guingouin, a French Resistance fighter who played a key role in liberating Limoges during World War Two. The official naming ceremony took place in 2015, honoring this historical figure's significant actions.
