Pic d'en Serradell is a mountain summit in the Eastern Pyrenees standing at around 1000 meters. From the top, you can see across multiple valleys and observe the surrounding mountain landscape.
Near the mountain at Col des Arques sits a prehistoric stone burial with rock carvings from 4000 to 2000 years before the common era. This shows that people have lived in this region since ancient times.
Local residents of Boule d'Amont, known as Bouletains and Bouletaines, maintain traditional connections to the mountain through established hiking paths and customs.
The mountain is best reached on foot, with a hiking route of about 17 kilometers starting from the village of Boule-d'Amont. Parking is available near the village by the restaurant at the trailhead.
The hiking route climbs through varied landscapes and passes by the church at Serrabone, which displays Romanesque architectural features. This architectural site adds a cultural dimension to the trek.
