The mountain paths near Cime de Rocca Seira connect to the ruins of Rocca Sparviera, a former medieval settlement abandoned in the 17th century.

Local hiking groups maintain the yellow trail markers throughout the path system, preserving traditional mountain access routes for future generations.

The ascent begins at Col de Porte parking area, accessible via Route D73, and follows an 11-kilometer trail with 578 meters of elevation gain.

From the summit, hikers can observe both the Vésubie Valley and the Cheiron massif, creating a natural observation point between two distinct landscapes.
