Pointe de Nions

Pointe de Nions is a mountain summit in Haute-Savoie that stands at 2019 meters and offers open views across the surrounding Alpine landscape. From this elevation, you can see multiple mountain chains and valleys spreading out in all directions.

The summit was documented by French cartographers during systematic geographical surveys of the Alps in the late 19th century. This scientific work resulted in precise mapping of the entire mountain region.
