La Méridienne – Théâtre de Lunéville

Located at 37 rue de Lorraine, La Méridienne spans multiple levels and features architectural elements characteristic of early 20th-century French theatre design.

Architect Lucien Weissenburger designed this theatre following a fire in 1908, completing construction in 1911 to replace an earlier performance venue near the castle.

The theatre maintains an active schedule of performances including comedy shows, theatrical productions, and artistic presentations throughout the year.

Visitors can access the theatre during operating hours on Wednesdays and Fridays from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM, and Saturdays during show evenings.

In 1998, the theatre received an artistic enhancement with the installation of 'Phœbus et Luna', a large ceiling artwork in the central hall.
