Mount Bisanne

Mount Bisanne is a 1941 meter summit in the Espace Diamant ski region, offering views across surrounding Alpine peaks and valleys. You can reach it via marked hiking trails from Villard-sur-Doron or by cable car lifts during winter months.

The mountain served as a natural boundary between Alpine communities from medieval times onward. This geographic role helped travelers navigate through the mountain passes of the region.

Shepherds have long used the mountain's summer pastures as part of traditional Alpine farming practices. This seasonal movement of herds shapes the appearance and rhythms of the landscape today.

The summit is accessible year-round but winter and spring snow require alpine experience and proper gear. The best hiking season runs from June through October when trails are clear and easier to navigate.
