The museum spans 3000 square meters within the Hotel-Dieu-le-Comte building, showcasing stained glass windows from the 12th to 21st centuries through permanent and temporary exhibitions.
The Hotel-Dieu-le-Comte, which houses the museum, was established in the 18th century by Henry I the Liberal, Count of Champagne, as a significant architectural complex.
The center displays both ancient and contemporary stained glass works, religious and civil, creating a dialogue between traditional and innovative glass art.
The museum opens Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00 from April to October, and from 10:00 to 17:00 from November to March.
The Aube region preserves 9000 square meters of stained glass windows distributed across 200 churches, representing Europe's largest concentration of this heritage.
