The Floralix theme park spreads across 35 hectares of land, featuring gardens, exhibitions, and entertainment spaces between the Sologne forest and Loire Valley.
Opening on April 25, 1967, Floralix attracted 2.3 million visitors over six months with 330 exhibitors and 700 producers from 11 different countries.
The park presented horticultural exhibitions in 13,000 square meters of glasshouses, showcasing international gardening techniques and plant varieties throughout the season.
The French Ministry of Culture designated the park as a Jardin Remarquable, making it the most visited attraction in Loiret with 150,000 annual visitors.
The park contains the Bouillon spring, which forms the source of the Loiret River, surrounded by specialized gardens including 900 iris varieties.
