Floralix was a three-hectare ephemeral theme park laid out in 1967 inside the Parc floral de la Source, in the Orléans-la-Source district south of Orléans. Its grounds were themed on the Gaulish comic hero Astérix, with a wooden palisade of upright logs, dark round shields fixed to it, and a sign reading "TOURNOIS"; behind the fence stood a timber tower with crossed beams, a railed platform, a ladder and an open shelter under a steep thatched roof.

Floralix opened on 25 April 1967 in the Parc floral de la Source, in the Orléans-la-Source district south of Orléans, on the occasion of the Floralies. It was inaugurated by Edgar Faure, then Minister of Agriculture. The three-hectare park, themed on the Gaulish comic hero Astérix, prefigured the Parc Astérix at Plailly in the Oise. It received 2.3 million visitors before closing in October 1967.

Floralix took its theme from the Gaulish comic hero Astérix, and its success prefigured the Parc Astérix opened at Plailly in the Oise. French singers Michel Polnareff and Pierre Perret performed on site during the six months the park was open. The wooden palisade with its round dark discs and the thatched watchtower carried the village setting into three dimensions.

Floralix existed only from 25 April to October 1967, so there is nothing left to visit today; the site is the Parc floral de la Source in Orléans-la-Source, south of the city centre. The park covered three hectares and drew 2.3 million visitors in six months, so crowds were heavy. Look for the wooden palisade with round dark discs and the sign reading "TOURNOIS", and the thatched-roof tower behind it.
