The Queen Tamar Bridge is a modern pedestrian structure with glass panels and metal framework that crosses the Kura River, linking the Old Town to Rike Park on the opposite bank. Glass sections of the bridge contain integrated LED lights that glow in different colors during special occasions, making the structure particularly striking after dark. These lights are typically activated for national holidays and major city celebrations.
