Galaktion and Titsian Tabidze House Museum

The museum complex consists of traditional wooden buildings with balustraded balconies, featuring three exhibition rooms that display personal belongings and photographs of the poets.

Established in 1983, the museum preserves the memory of Titsian Tabidze, who was executed by Stalinist forces in 1937 for refusing to denounce his fellow poet.

The collection contains 7,885 artifacts including manuscripts, books, paintings, sculptures, and embroidery samples that represent Georgian literary and artistic traditions.

The museum remains open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with admission costing 1 GEL and free entry for children under six years old.

The museum houses a traditional Georgian fireplace system that connects multiple rooms, alongside a preserved granary and kitchen in the backyard area.
