The park contains twelve different waterfalls within its 100,000 square meters, with four visible from designated observation points along stone paths.
An earthquake in the 14th century created the waterfalls, which later powered textile factories and tanneries throughout the 19th century.
The park includes sections of the ancient Egnatia road that connected Edessa to Thessaloniki, preserving this historical trade route.
Visitors can access the waterfalls through 1.1 kilometers of paths carved into rock, with viewing platforms offering different perspectives.
The Karanos waterfall allows people to walk behind its 70-meter water curtain, providing an interior view of the cascade.
