Spata Training Centre, Sports training complex in Spata, Greece
The Spata Training Centre includes three grass football fields, modern gymnasiums, and specialized rehabilitation areas for athletes preparing for competitions.
The facility opened in 2010 as a replacement for the Thrakomakedones Training Centre, with an initial construction investment of 15 million euros.
The center functions as the primary training ground for AEK Athens FC, contributing to the advancement of professional football development in Greece.
Located near Athens International Airport, the complex spans 144 acres and contains the Serafidio Stadium for hosting matches of AEK Athens B.
The facility will expand into AEK SportCity by 2025, adding tennis courts, swimming pools, and a five-star hotel to its existing infrastructure.
