The Vorres Museum spans across 80 acres with multiple buildings containing over 6000 artifacts that represent Greek art through different time periods.
Founded in 1983 by Ion Vorres, the museum incorporates two traditional village houses from the early 19th century and ancient stable remains within its grounds.
The museum exhibits contemporary Greek art from the second half of the 20th century, including works from pre-war, post-war, and modern artistic movements.
The museum opens on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 14:00, while group visits during weekdays require advance reservations for parties of 20 or more.
The museum grounds feature gardens with dry stone walls that have remained unchanged for over 50 years, creating distinct spaces between exhibition areas.
