National Glyptotheque, Art gallery in Goudi district of Athens, Greece.
The National Glyptotheque occupies two restored buildings of former royal stables within the Hellenic Army Park, featuring indoor galleries and an outdoor sculpture area.
The institution opened its doors in July 2004 with a retrospective exhibition of Henry Moore and wood sculptures by Christos Kapralos in the renovated military structures.
The permanent collection presents the development of modern Greek sculpture through eleven sections, starting from its early foundations to contemporary creations.
Visitors can reach the museum via Katechaki Metro station on Line 3, with general admission at 5 euros and reduced tickets at 3 euros.
The surrounding two-acre grounds function as an open-air sculpture museum, displaying large-scale works amid the green spaces of the Army Park.
