Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame, Sports hall of fame in Tampere, Finland.
The Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame is housed within Museum Center Vapriikki and displays medals, trophies, uniforms, photographs, and equipment that document ice hockey's evolution in Finland. The exhibition spans several hundred square meters and provides a comprehensive look at how the sport developed over time.
The hall was established in the 1980s and has since inducted more than 280 distinguished members from all corners of the sport. This selection includes players, coaches, referees, and other figures who shaped Finnish hockey's rise on the world stage.
The exhibition displays championship trophies that represent Finland's journey to becoming a dominant force in international hockey. These achievements hold deep meaning for the Finnish people and are woven into the fabric of national pride.
The exhibition is located on the third floor of Museum Center Vapriikki, making it easy to find within the larger building complex. You can visit Tuesday through Sunday starting at 10 AM, which gives you a full day ahead to explore the collection at your own pace.
Visitors can test their shooting and goaltending skills using two interactive simulators located in the exhibition space. These hands-on experiences let you feel what players face on the ice, even if you have never played the sport before.
