Ruokolahti Church

Ruokolahti Church is a Gothic Revival church building located in Ruokolahti, Finland. The wooden structure features a bell tower and displays architectural details characteristic of 19th-century church design.

Architect Ernst Lohrmann designed and built the church building in 1854, while the bell tower originated from 1752. This sequence shows how an older structure was integrated into the later development.

The church houses a 1915 altarpiece titled 'Christ on the Cross' created by artist Alexandra Frosterus-Såltin. This work reflects religious artistic tradition and forms part of the interior's visual character.
