Eastern Gulf of Finland National Park

The Eastern Gulf of Finland National Park spans 6.7 square kilometers across numerous small islands and islets covered with pine trees and rocky formations.

The national park, established in 1982, contains fortifications from the Continuation War and ancient stone labyrinths called jatulintarha on Ulko-Tammio island.

Traditional fishing villages throughout the archipelago showcase maritime heritage through stories of trade, fishing practices, and seafaring traditions.

Visitors need boats to access most areas of the park, with marked hiking trails available on Ulko-Tammio island and Mustaviiri island.

The park's rapakivi granite formations create distinctive cubical patterns along the coastline, forming steep cliffs that serve as nesting sites for sea birds.
